When AMEC appointed Browns Construction Group to construct a new 604 m2 office park to house five distinct offices at the Cheadle Royal Business Park in Cheadle, we knew we had found the right development upon which to site our new Head Quarters.
Browns were appointed to construct 5 contemporary style commercial buildings in steel and glass, with Cat 6 and to a high specification of finishes. The offices ranged in size from 6,500sqft to 15,000 sqft.
Browns also undertook the fit out of 3 of the units, with 2 units being fitted out as call centres.
Browns now occupy one of the units as the company Headquarters.
Construction Challenge
This greenfield site is directly under the flight path for Manchester International Airport. Browns Construction Group took care to consider the acoustics for each office suite and specialist glass was used to achieve sound-proofing within each building.
This attention to detail even included selecting exceptionally quiet air-conditioning systems.
