Browns were appointed by the Hynburn and Ribble Valley Primary Care Trust (now the Central Lancashire Primary Care Trust) to construct a Primary Care Trust Clinic and Hospital at Preston.
The 20 bed hospital provided inpatient and out patient care for the PCT. The accommodation constructed by Browns included operating theatres, patient treatment rooms, patient consultation rooms, wards and associated areas, administration facilities, kitchen and catering facilities and laboratories.
The new hospital was successfully delivered to the PCT on time and within the budget and provided high quality treatment and care accommodation.
