Browns Construction Group Ltd is proud to announce that Cilff Hawksworth, Construction Director, has attained the coveted achievement of Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Building. All at Browns congratulate Cliff on his Fellowship.
Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Building is the highest level of Membership to the CIOB and is only awarded to very senior professionals in the industry who have demonstrated significant input into the industry across a range of areas.
Cliff’s achievement recognises over 40 years experience in the industry.
Upon attaining the Fellowship Cliff said;
“When I initially decided to try for membership of the CIOB I had a daunting uphill struggle as a vision for the way forward to achieve professional recognition.
However, once I started going through the process of the different stages leading to FCIOB I realised that I was committing to paper all the experience of over forty years in the construction industry.
The final stages, to achieve my goal of FCIOB, were very challenging because I realised that I was on the cusp of pass or failure at the very top end of the industry’s most prestigious Professional Institute.
Achieving FCIOB and also assisting in attaining the company Chartered Building Company (CBC) status will demonstrate to potential clients that at Browns we adopt a professional outlook with the credentials from the industry’s foremost professional institute in support of this.
We are now demonstrating visibly to Browns’ staff that professional credentials are available and through our intensive training programme managers from all levels of the management chain can work towards achieving professional credentials.
