Browns Appointed To Build Cardiff University’s Prestigious School Of Bioscience Facility.

Browns are pleased to announce that Cardiff University has awarded them the contract to build the School of Biosciences South Podium Deck Extension project. This prestigious project provides new facilities for the School of Biosciences.


  The project includes the creation of a two storey extension over the existing South Podium Deck to house a new reception area, offices, meeting rooms, a large seminar room and new catering facility.

The whole project will be established to the best modern standards with suitable attention to heat loads and air filtration to promote a truly interactive environment.


This project is part of the Campus Horizons Investment Strategy to transform the working environment throughout the University estate.
William Murphy – Managing Director of Browns said, “We’re delighted to be awarded the project and to have the opportunity to work with Cardiff University. It’s an exciting project to be delivering for the University and will result in a landmark building on the campus. This year we’re proud to be celebrating 150 years of trading and being awarded this contract demonstrates that after 150 years Browns are still competitive in a very challenging market place”.
